Our mission

Our mission is to save lives by enabling quick transportation to the best medical treatment. Our first platform is purpose-built for medical use, developed from the ground up to meet the unique demands of this vital sector.

Through close collaboration with medical experts, we ensure our design is tailored to the specific needs of our partners, focusing on safety, low maintenance, user-centric design, and cost-effectiveness. We aim to expand patient care infrastructure and alleviate global healthcare systems from the limitations of patient transportation.

Our History

ERC was born in 2020 from a shared passion for electric aviation among a group of seasoned aerospace engineers. With a successful history of building manned and unmanned eVTOLs for years, the team was eager to take on a new challenge with a realistic use case. Recognizing a critical gap in the medical healthcare system due to upcoming hospital closures across the world, ERC was conceived with a singular mission: to revolutionize patient transportation.

Understanding no eVTOL OEM truly fulfills the needs of HEMS operators for patient transportation, ERC has been meticulously developing an eVTOL specifically designed to meet the unique needs of patient transport. To ensure success, ERC has partnered with DRF Luftrettung and local governments in Bavaria, which will serve as one of the first routes for our electric VTOL.

After four years in stealth mode, ERC proudly unveiled its aircraft in July 2024, its second full-scale, full-mass demonstrator. The first flight will be soon.

Today, ERC is a diverse and dynamic company with over 80 employees from more than 17 nations, all dedicated to delivering a faster, cost-effective solution for patient transportation. The project counts with the support of HEMS operators across the world, doctors, medical experts, and DRF Luftrettung, among others.
