How our application process works

As our eVTOL project goes from strength to strength, we constantly need to add new talent to our team. What we are looking for is the kind of people who have the right skill set for a career on the cutting edge of technology and whose personality is a good fit for our young, dynamic team.

With this in mind, we have designed our application process to be simple and flexible and to allow plenty of interaction with applicants on a personal level. The process cuts out any unnecessary steps and lets us get right down to the task at hand – finding the right people for our team.

Our application process in seven steps

If you are interested in joining the ERC team, the following 7 steps describe your way to go.

Step 1: Check out job postings

Our tip to you is to check our vacancies regularly. New vacancies are added all the time, so it’s always a good idea to pay regular visits to our career page. We also post jobs on our LinkedIn page, so be sure to follow us and you will get all the details in your feed right away..

Step 2: Apply online

You found your match in our vacancies – great! Then send us your application via our online portal or via mail. All you need to do is to upload your résumé.

Step 3: Review of your application

We will review your application carefully, confidentially, and promptly. We will contact you as soon as possible for the next steps.

Step 4: First interview

Your application is interesting and a fitting to the expertise we are currently looking for? Then we are happy to invite you to a first online interview, get to know you better and to introduce you to ERC. During this interview we are curious to hear about motivation and how you can contribute to ERC with your expertise. You will get to know our colleagues from People & Culture as well as the team lead whose team you would join.

Step 5: Second interview

If we both feel the chemistry is right, we’ll set up a second interview. In this interview, we will ask you more questions about your skills and qualifications needed for the open position at ERC. During this interview, you will get to know more of the colleagues you will directly working with If you’re already based in a commuting distance to our office in Ottobrunn, we’ll invite you to a face-to-face meeting at our office. If you are based further away, we’ll conduct this second interview online, too.

Step 6: Third interview

The last-but-not-least step in your application and also your decision process. For this interview we will invite you to a face-to-face meeting to our office. This is your chance to meet the team, see where you would work and talk about the contractual conditions again.

Step 7: Offer and contract

You like us, we like you. In this step we make you an official offer and send you the finalized contract. Once you have signed the contract and returned it to us, it’s time to let your journey begin.
